We are a boutique salon, without the fuss – you’ll walk in and feel instantly comfortable and a part of our community. We provide expert hair services from balayage and cuts to extensions and foiling to make you look good and feel even better. Our team of stylists are empowered, and supported through our unique family of salons and mentors, which creates a feel good environment for everyone. You’re going to leave here with amazing hair and a great experience.
Our Founder
Laura Khesin
Society Beauty Bar is Laura K’s first salon for commission stylists. After founding two independent stylist salons, Ivy Hair Loft in Arlington Center and Reverie Hair Studio in Cambridge, Laura wanted to bring a new perspective to stylists who preferred working in a traditional salon setting. Society Beauty Bar is a salon where stylists enjoy some of the same benefits that independent stylists enjoy without having to deal with some nuances of working for themselves. Society is for stylists who want career growth, freedom and a salon family that supports them in their aspirations. Laura is really proud of this space and excited to foster growth for the stylists on her team.
